The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to fostering infrastructural development in the council area.

The council boss gave the assurance when he visited sites of the ongoing developmental projects in Ward D area of the council on Wednesday.

The visit is coming two days after a similar exercise was carried out on ongoing constituency projects facilitated by the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke.

Accompanied by the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Hon. Olaide John Bello, Councillor Hon. Lekan Peters, Hon. Bola Lawal, and the Chairman of Ward D, Hon. Gabriel Jolaosho, Odunmbaku expressed satisfaction with the quality of the projects and pace of progress.

The first port of call was the site of the ongoing Recreational Centre, where sand-filling operations are currently underway to lay the foundation for the project. Odunmbaku and his entourage proceeded to the construction site of the new Secretariat Complex within the council premises, as well as the Powerline Primary Healthcare Center (PHC), which is also nearing completion.

As part of the inspection, the Chairman visited the ongoing construction of Yusuf Street at Mobil in Okeira, a 325-meter road project designed to improve access and enhance the area’s aesthetics. The team also inspected works at Irebawa Street, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

During the visit, Hon. Odunmbaku engaged directly with community leaders, residents and site workers, addressing their concerns and reiterating his administration’s commitment to the timely completion of all ongoing projects. He assured stakeholders in the Ward that the projects are geared towards fostering sustainable development, improving living standards and creating a conducive environment for economic growth.
