The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Monday conducted an inspection of ongoing federal constituency infrastructural projects within the council area to ensure quality delivery and timely completion.
Accompanied by key officials including the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello with Hon. Olumide Akinade, Hon. Lekan Peters and Supervisor For WAPA, Hon. Folake Adams, the Chairman visited the ongoing reconstruction of Gboyega Kilo and Obokun Streets with Yakoyo Market which are constituency projects of the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on Finance, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
Odunmbaku who was also accompanied by former CDC Chair, Chief Benjamin Abiona and Ward F Chairman, Hon Olalekan Ibrahim Lawal interacted with residents at intervals as well as community leaders and site engineers, emphasizing his dedication to civic engagement and inclusive governance.
“These projects by Hon James Faleke symbolize progress and better living standards for our people in Ojodu LCDA,” he stated.
Odunmbaku also commended Hon James Faleke’s recent empowerment programme which 1,423 constituents received ₦75,000 cash grants, 508 empowered with tools and tricycles, 240 PWDs got Point Of Sales (POS) machines and 20,000 people received food palliatives.
The visit underscored Odunmbaku administration’s resolve to foster robust engagement between the local government, residents and constituency projects in Ojodu LCDA.
