The Segun Odunmbaku-led administration in Ojodu LCDA is exploring all means to enhance community welfare, this is as it commissioned a model public toilet and urinal facility at Ogba Bus Park.

In addition to the laudable initiative, the council unveiled the Ojodu Youth Skills Empowerment Programme, demonstrating its steely dedication to infrastructural development and youth-capacity building.

Constructed through a partnership with Cartel Furniture and Steel (CFS), the modern facility provided with Alternative Power Supply (Solar) is designed for durability and sustainability, reflecting the innovative leadership of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku’s administration.

Representing the Chairman, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, Leader of The Legislative House commended the council’s proactive approach, emphasizing the synergy between private-public collaborations in addressing community needs.

Stakeholders, including the Transport Union Chairman, Comrade Gbenga Olowolafe and Site Engineer, Mr Lukman expressed gratitude for the initiative. The youth skills programme aims to equip young residents with marketable technical skills, reinforcing the administration’s focus on fostering economic growth, empowering youth and ensuring a cleaner more sustainable Ojodu LCDA.
