The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, has taken his commitment to the welfare of his constituents to another height as he doled out ₦20 million in cash gifts to residents and distributed food items, live chickens among others to their doorstep.
The initiative, aimed at easing economic hardship and spreading joy, reached thousands across Ojodu LCDA’s six wards.
The target beneficiaries were vulnerable groups, including ethnic communities, artisans, religious leaders and People Living with Disabilities (PLWD) were prioritized as the Chairman personally distributed 2500 food packages and 1500 live chickens to residents at their wards.
Additionally, over 1,000 individuals had received N20,000 each to cushion holiday expenses. Mechanic villages, the Community Development Committee (CDC), traditional and religious institutions were included, showcasing Odunmbaku’s inclusive governance.
Residents lauded the initiative as timely, highlighting the Chairman’s dedication to their welfare and unity during challenging times which reaffirmed his commitment to uplifting the people of Ojodu LCDA .
