Ademola Lookman, Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Atalanta winger, has been named 2024 CAF men’s ‘Player of the Year.’
The 27-year-old was announced the winner of the gong at the gala held in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Monday.
Reacting to his emergence, the newly-crowned African Footballer of the year acknowledged the cheers beginning with his native language as he appreciated everyone that contributed to his success; “Ẹ káalẹ́, Nigeria! Mò ń kí gbogbo yín. Ẹ ṣé! Mo dúpẹ́!,” he said.
