Stakeholders comprising traditional rulers, community leaders, women and youth groups among others have hailed the chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Odunmbaku for his transformational strides in the council area.
The stakeholders gave their pat on Odunmbaku’s back at the 2025 Budget Stakeholders’s meeting held at the council secretariat recently.
The event was held to get the public’s input to the formulation of financial policy for the upcoming 2025.

In his address, Odunmbaku reeled out his administration’s achievements across all areas of governance in the last three years as he sought the genuine input of the stakeholders for consolidation in the coming year.
Specifically, the council boss highlighted his strides in healthcare, education, youth and women empowerment with social and infrastructural development as encapsulated in his H.E.Y.S Agenda.
He also emphasized the renovation and expansion of health centers, provision of essential medical supplies and facilities, bursaries, scholarships and upgrades to educational facilities. Youth skill acquisitions and women’s economic empowerment initiatives with food palliative programmes were also spotlighted.
Hon. Segun Odunmbaku stressed the importance of community participation in shaping the 2025 budget. He urged stakeholders to contribute their ideas and inputs, ensuring the budget reflects the community’s needs and aspirations.
The attendees took turns to laud Odunmbaku for his imitable leadership at the saddle especially for running an open-door policy and inclusive administration assuring him of their unwavering support for his continued success.
Curtains were drawn on the meeting ended with intense brainstorming sessions and suggestions as stakeholders shared priorities for the budget, ranging from infrastructure to social services.
