Senator Idiat Adebule, the federal lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial district at the red chamber has distributed fertilisers to farmers across the 10 Local Government Areas in the district.
The exercise was carried out at her constituency office along Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA on Friday.
In her address to the beneficiaries, Senator Adebule emphasized the importance of supporting local farmers to boost agricultural productivity in the country.
She highlighted that the distribution which happened to be the the second in recent times is part of her ongoing efforts to enhance food security and empower farmers in Lagos West.
During the event, Senator Adebule encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the fertilisers wisely and to adopt best farming practices that could further enhance their productivity.
The farmers most of whom could not contain their excitement about the exercise showered praises on the federal lawmaker for the initiative.
