The Federal Government has announced that a common ground has been reached with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over lifting the ban placed on Nigerian passport holders.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris made this known shortly after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu on Monday.

The minister said, “Nigeria has been discussing with the UAE over the ban on Nigerians traveling to that country, but today an agreement has been reached on that.

“Now Nigerian passport holders can be issued visa to travel to United Arab Emirates.”
