The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Engr Adigun Ibrahim, mnse, has inaugurated new leadership in Bariga Local Branch.

The local branch held it election on Tuesday at the Bariga LCDA secretariat.

The epoch-making occasion was monitored by Engr Adigun who had led other state executives to the event.

Upon the successful electoral process, Comrade Caleb Olonitola was declared the new coordinator who will paddle the affairs of the youth umbrella body in Bariga LCDA for the next four years.

Alongside Olonitola other newly elected officials which includes the Deputy Coordinator; Lawal Azeez, Secretary;Adenike Odukale, Assistant Secretary; Alabi Christiana, P.R.O; Olanrewaju Martins, Programmes Officer; Ilerinson Shina, Treasurer; Banire Rashidat, Financial Secretary; Odumosu Bolaji, Legal Adviser; Barr. Segun Agboola, Social Secretary; Dolapo Abdul
and Auditor; Sodiq Mutallib were promptly inaugurated signaling the beginning of the new administration.

In his address , Adigun congratulated the new officials urging them to live up to the responsibilities of their new offices as he called for cohesion amongst them.

He tasked them deliver on their social contract of protecting and promoting the interest of all youths individuals and affiliated organizations in the local branch assuring of the state support for their activities.

Adigun concluded by calling on all stakeholders and well-meaning individuals in the local branch to rally around the youth body in carrying our meaningful and impactful projects for the youth.

The event was graced by several dignitaries, including the Leader of the Legislative House, the Deputy Leader of the House, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Chairman, SSA on Media to the Chairman of Bariga LCDA, HOD Agric, CPS to the Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Chief of Staff to the Chairman NYCN, and members of the Lagos State Youth Parliament representing Shomolu 1 & 2.

Adigun, following his emergence as the helmsman of the state structure on Tuesday 2nd July, has brought his qualitative leadership and coordination to bear on the youth body by ensuring smooth leadership transition at the local level.

The first was Ejigbo local branch and now Bariga local branch.
