The distinguished lawmaker representing Lagos West at the red chamber, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule has congratulated Engr. Adigun Ibrahim on his emergence as the chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter.

Theliberationnews reported that Adigun succeeds Comrade Biliamin Oba as the Chairman of the youths’ umbrella body at the elective congress held between Monday 1 July and Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

The epochal event was held at CMD, Ikosi-Isheri, Lagos.

In a press statement made available to Theliberationnews, the lawmaker described Adigun’s emergence as a well-deserved victory.

She expressed confidence in his leadership capabilities and urged him to prioritize the welfare and development of the youth in Lagos.

She emphasized the importance of youth engagement in community development and nation-building, pledging her support towards initiatives that promote youth participation and development in the state.

“I heartily congratulate one of Lagos West’s illustrious youths, Engr Adigun Ibrahim on his emergence as the chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter. Adigun is a vibrant individual who has shown enormous passion for youth development. I have no iota of doubt in his capabilities to deliver on the mandate bestowed on him by youths across the state and he can count on my support,” the terse statement read.
