Erstwhile President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has hailed Nigerian media mogul and politician, Dele Momodu on the success of his historic inaugural leadership lecture that held in Lagos recently.
The lecture which was attended by renowned leaders across the world including captains of industries, amongst others, witnessed a lecture presentation on the topic: “The Politics of Energy And The Way Forward.”
Mahama, who served for a period of five years as the president of the west African country described the lecture as a remarkable event of immense significance just as he appreciated the privilege bestowed on him to chair the epoch-making ceremony.
Taking to his social media page to comment on the event, Mahama wrote; “It was a privilege to be a part of the historic Dele Momodu Leadership Lecture in Lagos, Nigeria. Dele Momodu, a dear friend and brother, orchestrated a remarkable event of immense significance. I am deeply grateful to have been entrusted with the role of chairing this momentous ceremony.
“The lecture theme, “The Politics of Energy and the Way Forward,” was timely and important. As we face the challenges of climate change and the increasing demand for sustainable energy sources, it is crucial for leaders to come together and discuss the best way forward for our energy policies, especially given the peculiar situations in our two brotherly countries, Ghana and Nigeria.
