The coordinators of the local branches across Lagos West Senatorial District has thrown their weight behind the candidature of Engr Adigun Ibrahim for the chairmanship seat of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter.
The youth leaders made their stance known over the weekend at the quarterly senatorial meeting held at the multi-purpose hall of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA Secretariat.
The meeting chaired by the outgoing Vice Chairman of NYCN, Lagos West, Com. Jamiu Ademosu, had in attendance coordinators of the 28 local branches under the senatorial district as well as other executives members past leaders and stakeholders of the noble organisation.
During the meeting, the coordinators expressed unanimous support for Engr. Adigun citing his proven leadership and dedication to youth empowerment.
They emphasized his vision for inclusive and impactful youth programs, which resonated strongly with their collective goals for the NYCN Lagos State Chapter.
The endorsement signals a cohesive effort among local branches to consolidate support behind a candidate they believe will effectively represent their interests and drive positive change within the council.
On his part, Ademosu expressed his belief in Adigun’s capabilities to make the state chapter the envy of others upon his anticipated victory at the forthcoming elective congress slated to come up between 1st and 3rd July 2024.
He assured of his support for his victory and success while in office.
