In its bid to sustain an effectively managed estate, the Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1 Residents’ Association (LERA) has announced the inauguration of its new Board of Trustees, BoT. The ceremony that was conducted on Saturday signifies a bold step in consolidating the association’s governance structure.

The 12-member board, led by Asiwaju (Dr) Michael Olawale-Cole, CON, MFR as chairman, includes professionals from diverse fields and respected community leaders. From the board’s list are prominent Senior Advocates of Nigeria including Adeniji Musendiq Kazeem and Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa who is to serve as Secretary

Seni Adio, SAN, administered the inauguration’s oath of office on members that were physically present and those that joined virtually. The new trustees will serve a four-year term that commences from the day of inauguration.

Amorha Victor Uchenna: Akintan, Omotayo Jayeola: Irocheonwu Sonny Ifeanyi: Barr. (Chief) Grace Zemaye Egbagbe and Chief Folarin Ademola Babatunde.

In LERA’s statement signed by its secretary, Funmi Adeogun, the association expressed unwavering confidence in the new board’s ability to provide strategic leadership for the estate.
