The leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo is alive, hale and hearty, Theliberationnews reports.
The confirmation of his health status is coming against the backdrop of reports about the passage of the nonagenarian.
Having previously ignored calls and text from our correspondent, a close source to the elder statesman confirmed that the Afenifere leader is in perfect condition.
“Pa Adebanjo is doing well. He’s a hale and hearty. Disregard the speculation flying around about his state of health, I think it’s a case of misplaced identity. Papa is alive,” the source who pleaded anonymity said.
