The legislative arm of Isolo LCDA has mourned the passage of the late paramount ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Alani Akolawole Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III.
Theliberationnews reported that the traditional ruler joined his ancestors in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.
The councillors in a joint condolence statement signed by the Council Leader, Hon.Akeem Adeyemi described the death of the paramount ruler of Osolo Kingdom as the end of an era.
“It is with great shock and heavy pain that we received the news of the demise of Osolo of Isolo Kingdom and the secretary of Council of Obas and Chief in Lagos State, HRM Oba Alani Kabiru Agbabiakia who joined his ancestors in the early hours of Wednesday.
“Kabiesi was not just a custodian of tradition, custom and value but very committed to the growth and development of Isolo, Awori land and Lagos as a whole.
“He was quintessential, versatile, astute, and a great Monarch who loved everyone beyond measure with his Palace remaining the best place for solutions on issues bordering around community.
“He will sorely be missed by all with a great vacuum that his journey to the world beyond has brought but with solace that he lived a fruitful and impactful life”, statement read.
