Justice Abimbola Awogboro of Federal High Court, Lagos, on Friday, sentenced popular cross-dresser, Idris Olarewaju Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months in prison over Naira abuse.
As a deterrence, Bobrisky was not given an option of fine.
Theliberationnews reported that Bobrisky was on April 5, 2024 arraigned in court by the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a six-count charge ranging from abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.
The Federal High Court, however, dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he confessed to the crime.
