Dr. Idiat Adebule, the lawmaker representing Lagos West in the Nigerian senate has rallied Nigerians’ support for President Bola Tinubu in his determined efforts to make the country better.
Speaking at flag-off ceremony of her mega palliative distribution program for no fewer than 10,000 residents across Lagos West, on Saturday, Adebule said the hardship being experienced in the country is a sacrifice for a better and prosperous tomorrow.
At the event held at police college, Ikeja, Adebule pointed out that the national is undergoing an all-important rebirth that will ensure economic prosperity, national stability, improved security and social justice for all.
She noted that Nigeria is a unique country populated by highly motivated, vibrant, talented and brilliant young people as well as highly cerebral and experienced senior citizens.
Her words: “Therefore, we have no business with socio-economic failures. With the abundant human and materials resources at our disposal, nothing should hold us back from achieving our glory as a nation. That is the reason we all need to pull together and channel our energies in support of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has been executing difficult but appropriate policies and programmes that will surely lead us to sustainable economic prosperity and national stability.
“As we grapple with the fallouts of the ongoing economic reforms, we must acknowledge that cost of living crisis is a global phenomenon and not peculiar to Nigeria.
“However, the inconvenient sacrifices we are making today to build a more resilient economy, is for a better, brighter and bountiful tomorrow.”
