The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has arrested some hoodlums suspected to have been among those who stole food items at a government storage facility in Gwagwa, Abuja.
While confirming the ugly incident, FCT Police Public Relations officer, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident, noted that officers were already on ground to manage the situation.
Theliberationnews gathered that the hoodlums burgled into a government storage facility in Gwagwa town of FCT on Sunday, March 1, and looted stores filled with food items which included bags of maize and grain.
According to a resident who wouldn’t want their name in print, the looting started around 7am and continued unhindered for several hours.
