Only 251 aspirants out of the 5,308 applicants that sat for the final examinations of the Nigerian Law School Bar Final Examinations held in November 2023 bagged first class, Theliberationnews can authoritatively report.

In the result that was released today by the Chief Emeka Ngige SAN-led college of Legal Education, 1,024 applicants which represents 19 per cent made the Second Class Upper Honours grade.

Coming close to that were 2,179 Bar aspirants who bagged the Second Class Lower grade as 967 others made the Pass grade.

It was gathered that aside from 283 aspirants who made the Conditional Pass grade, 604 candidates failed the examination and would have to retake it at a future date.
