Usman Ododo has been sworn in as the 5th governor of Kogi State.

Ododo took his oath of office as the state Governor in Lokoja, the state capital on Saturday. His inauguration came minutes after oath of office was administered on his deputy, Salifu Joel Oyibo.
In attendance the event were the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Ododo’s predecessor, Yahaya Bello, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje and other top members of the party.
