Otunba Biodun Ajiboye on Wednesday assumed office to the warm embrace of staff as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO).

Recall, Theliberationnews reported that Ajiboye alongside ten others were named as heads of various agencies in the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy last Friday by President Bola Tinubu.

Upon resumption of office on Wednesday, Otunba Ajiboye exhibited his preparedness for the demands of his new position by embarking on familiarisation tour of the agency.

In his robust engagement with top management staff of the agency, the new kid on the block gained valuable insights into the ongoing initiatives and cultural endeavors at the institute.


Amidst the camaraderie, Ajiboye humbly solicited the support of the dedicated team, emphasizing the importance of collective effort for the success of his tenure as the Chief Executive.

Addressing the staff, Otunba Ajiboye assured: “The spirit of collaboration and enthusiasm will be the thrust of my leadership while also promising you all and the entire nation that henceforth, a promising tone of cultural renaissance has been set for the country. Together, we should be poised to champion cultural regeneration and advocacy in the rich tapestry of our dear nation.”
