Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has named a former governorship aspirant and retired deputy clerk of the national assembly, Olayide Owolabi Adelami as his deputy.

Adelami is a native of Owo and was a former deputy clerk at the National Assembly until his retirement in April 2018.

Mr Adelami hails from the same hometown as the deceased Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

In a terse disclosure to Journalist, the chief press secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, confirmed Mr Adelami’s nomination on Wednesday afternoon.

“His (Adelami) nomination will be announced by the House of Assembly later today,” Mr Adeniyan said in a chat.
