Consequent upon his meritorious service to his country as the immediate past High Commissioner for Nigeria to the United Kingdom, a foremost indigenous social club in Ogun state, The Abeokuta Club, recently held a glorious homecoming reception for Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, OFR.
The exquisite reception had in attendance the’who is who’ in Egbaland and Nigeria in general. All revered traditional rulers in Egbaland and some illustrious sons and daughters of the ancient town were in attendance.
Leading the pack from the traditional rulership circle was the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, HRM, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo. Also present at the occasion were other leading traditional rulers including the Osile of Oke-Ona, HRM, Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso and Olowu of Owu Kingdom, HRM, Oba Saka Matemilola. The occasion was also graced by other important dignitaries from all walks of life.
