The Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, has facilitated aquaculture training for about 200 fish farming enthusiasts in the senatorial district.
The two-day training themed: “Aquaculture Production Training for Lagos West Senatorial District, Lagos” commenced on Wednesday, December 27 and it will run through Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR), Lagos.
One of the participants, Qudus Osofuye commended the lawmaker for facilitating the training noting that the lectures have been top-notch adding that he has been exposed to some of the best approaches to fish farming.
He assured that he will utilise the ideas to expand his fish farming business.
Another beneficiary, Mrs. Adeniji Morufat, said, “I’ve longed for a program like this to better my understanding of fish farming because I feel my knowledge about it is little. Im grateful to our senator, Mama West, for organising this program for us at no cost.”
“My excitement knew no bound when I heard about this program. This is the most comprehensive training on fish farming that I’ve attended and I am grateful to our own senator for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to what we will learn tomorrow. I will put the knowledge I am gathering here to enhance my fish farming business and ultimately augment my profit,” another participant, Avoseh Tosin enthused.
