Like a golden fish who has no hiding place, the Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye local branch, Comrade Adigun Ibrahim has bagged an outstanding leadership award.
Adigun was found worthy of the ‘Distinguished Leadership Award’ in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to youth development in Nigerian according to the organiser, CELCE Africa.
The award presentation was one of the highlights of the event tagged: “prestigious Leadership and Entrepreneurship Awards” organised last Sunday by CELCE Africa at Yakubu Gowon Hall, BSN Event House, Palmgroove Estate, Lagos.
In his acceptance speech, Adigun, the foremost aspirant in the race for NYCN Lagos state chairmanship seat, appreciated the organiser for finding him worthy of the award as he dedicated it to other executives of NYCN Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye local branch and the teeming youths.
He described the award as an encouragement to keep up with his selfless dedication to youth development and nation-building.
His words, “I am most delighted to receive this award today. It’s a pleasure that organisations like CELCE AFRICA are out there to acknowledge and appreciate patriotism and excellence. I want to dedicate this award to my lovely wife for her understanding and support. Also, I’m dedicating it to other executives of my local branch and the abounding youths of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA.”
Other awardees at the event include Ambassador Chris IBE, the Coordinator of NYCN Itire Ikate and his counterpart from Ikorodu West Comrade John Oshodi and Comrade Asoro Abubakr, respectively.
