Leke Bejide, the gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, has assured traditional rulers in the state of their deserved regard one of which he said is “best hotels” to enjoy themselves during functions, when elected as governor.

Bejide, a former member representing the Yagba federal constituency in the House of Representatives, made the promise during his campaign tour of the state on Monday.

He is one of the candidates jostling to succeed Governor Yahya Bello in the November 11, 2023 election.

He said: “I will respect all my traditional rulers.

“I will give you the due respect that is needed.

“I will make sure any time I invite you, I will put you in the best hotel for you to enjoy yourself.

“I will not look down and put you inside the sun.”
