Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, the Senator representing Lagos West district in the red chamber, has sent her deepest sympathies to a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) in the state, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, over the death of his wife, Alhaja Mariam Iyabode Olusi.

In a press statement obtained by Theliberationnews, Senator Adebule described the home call of the matriarch of the Olusi royal family as a big loss to the family, the ruling party and Lagos at large.

Theliberationnews reports that Alhaja Olusi, mother of Prince Adetoyese Olusi, chairman of Lagos Island Council government area, breathed her last on Saturday at the age of 77 years and she has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.

Dr. Adebule sympathised with the Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Prince Tijani Olusi, other children of the deceased and family members over the loss of their beloved matriarch.

Also, Senator Adebule condoled with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Her Excellency, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, members of the GAC and Lagos State APC for the irreplaceable loss

“I was deeply saddened to hear about Alhaja’s passing. On behalf of the people of Lagos West Senatorial District, I condole with our leader, Baba Tajudeen Olusi and his family.

“I acknowledge that this is a very challenging time for Baba Olusi and his family, but I believe they are consoled by the fulfilled life of good virtues Mama lived and her dedication to the family,” the lawmaker said.

Offering her prayers, Dr. Adebule said, “My prayer is that Allah forgive Alhaja’s shortcomings and grants her Aljanna Firdaus as well as give the entire Olusi royal family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”
