President Bola Tinubu has directed the immediate withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
The termination of his appointment was contained in a press statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson on Thursday.
Recall, that Ngelale, announced Kashim’s appointment last week Friday.
Imam holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in engineering business management from the University of Sussex. Before his appointment, he served as a special assistant to Dave Umahi, the minister of works.
Meanwhile, in the latest press statement, Ngelale made it known that the President’s withdrawal of Imam’s nomination is directed with immediate effect.
All other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by this directive.
