President Bola Tinubu has disclosed his administration’s determination to change the narrative of a weak and crawling economy being told about Nigeria by injecting positive transformation into governance.

The president made this assertion during his bilateral discussions with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and his entourage at State House, Abuja on Sunday.

Tinubu also solicits improved cooperation, especially in the areas of security, natural resources, education, and democracy between the two countries.

He assures that the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election last week had removed distractions and affirming that he’s now focused on moving the country forward.

According to him: “Nigeria is still crawling, but we are determined to change the narrative and bring about a transformative government in the country.”

However, the German Chancellor, Scholz, in his response thanked President Tinubu for his matured guidance of ECOWAS leading to sustenance of peace and stability in the subregion, Africa and the entire world.

Scholz also highlighted the need for further collaboration in the areas of infrastructure, and particularly in electricity and energy.
