The much-talked-about Lagos West Award may have come and gone but its memories will linger forever.
The event, held at the prestigious Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja was attended by the crème de la crème in Lagos political circle and prominent leaders of the youth body in the state.
The senator representing Lagos West, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule who was unavoidably absent was represented by the former Special Adviser to Lagos State governor on Housing, Mrs. Aramide Giwanson, Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende graced the occasion to receive his award as the ‘Outstanding Youth Development Initiator” were top among those in attendance.
Other dignitaries who added the aura of their personalities to the event include the chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, the chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Ramotalai Olanrewaju Hassan, Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Ajala, Dr. Ibikunle Ganiyu, High Chief Odunuga Kayode, Comrade Olalekan James, Comrade Yusuf Kelani, Comrade Odulana Ismail, Comrade Ola James Fetuga, Comrade Taofeeq Gbadebo and Deacon Sanya among others.
