The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of popular singer and CEO of Marlian Records, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley over his alleged involvement in the controversies leading to the death of his former signee Mohbad.
The command’s public relations officer made, SP Benjamin Hundeyin made the development known via a post on his X account on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the singer via a post on his X account promised his cooperation with the police in their investigation into the issue.
“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail,” his post read.
