Star actor and Pastor, Jimmy Odukoya, the first son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, has been announced as the General Overseer of the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos.
The announcement was made on Sunday during the Church Service by a member of the Church’s Board of Trustees Pastor Rotimi Okpaise who confirmed that the late Pastor Odukoya had put in place a succession plan before his passage.
The senior Odukoya, who was bereaved twice in space of weeks in 2021 from death of his wife from second marriage and twin sister, died on the 7th of August in the United States of America. He was buried on September 9, 2023.
It was gathered that the succession, which has received the blessing of the Church’s BoT and Bishop Mike Okonkwo, who is the spiritual mentor of the late Odukoya, will formally takes place on 30th of September.
Jimmy, who is a Nollywood Actor, got his education at the Oral Roberts University, United States. His sister, Tolu Tolu Odukoya Ijogun is the new associate Pastor of the Church.
