Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (retd), former military operations spokesman has died.
The newly retired military general reportedly died on Saturday morning after complaining of cold and was rushed to a private hospital where he gave up the ghost.
General Onyeuko retired from the Nigerian Army after the recent appointment of new service chiefs, and was a former Director, Defence Media Operations.
A close friend of the deceased who saw him a day before his death told close buddies who wouldn’t want their names in print that the retired general was hale and hearty on Friday until he fell ill on Saturday morning and passed.
