Oloruntola Mutiu Oluwaseyi, a 16-year-old student at Taidob College, Asero, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital has set an all-time best West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result.
Mutiu with examination number 4281613070, according to a copy of the result obtained by Theliberationnews recorded an impressive result of Nine A1s in the 2023 edition of the West African examination.
The enviable feat was confirmed by the Director of the school, Obawunmi Jiboku.
It was gathered that the students, an indigene of Abeokuta North Local Government and a science student of the College.
He had an A1 in Data Processing, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Technical Drawing.
According to the Director of the School, Mutiu’s outstanding performance was ‘a reflection of moral and academic excellence the College is known for in its 30 years of existence.’
Jiboku further said that though Mutiu’s performance stands out, the college has always been recording outstanding WASSCE results year-in-year-out.
