“I heartily rejoice with my father, the Mayegun of Yoruba Land, Prince Olasunkanmi Ayinde Marshal, MON, on his pronouncement as the new Olori Omoba of Ijebu Land. This latest feather added to his well-decorated cap is no doubt an acknowledgement of his immense contributions to cultural advancement via his redefined genre of music (Fuji) – which has not only promoted Ijebu Land but unprecedentedly placed Nigeria on the global map of recreation,” the statement read in part.
Praying for the new Olori Omoba of Ijebu Land, Olasoju while expressing his confidence in Ayinde Marshal’s capability to meet the expectations his new title demands of him, beseeched God for His continued guidance and wisdom for the Fuji maestro.
