Following his ‘surprise’ announcement as the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emphasised his commitment to fostering Democratic rule in the West African region.
Also among other things, he made known his resolve to promote the tenets of Rule of Law and ensure no state in the region experience military Coup D’etat. He added that he will work hand-in-hand with other presidents to pursue inclusive economic integration in West Africa.
