The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has informed banks in the country to trade foreign exchange at arbitrary rates, Theliberationnews has learnt.
It was gathered that the I&E window exchange rate skyrocketed to N610 per dollar, as at N12:50 pm from N471.67 yesterday night.
As off the time of filing this reports, the CBN was yet to make a statement to this effect but Theliberationnews insider in the apex bank confirmed the development.
