President Bola Tinubu, Wednesday, sworn in Senator George Akume as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Senator Akume took his Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office around 11:06 am inside the Council Chambers of the Villa in the presence of dignitaries, including some serving and former governors.
Others that witnessed the brief ceremony included the Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmed Lawan; Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr FolasadeYemi-Esan and wife of the new SGF, Mrs Regina Akume.
