The Wheel Of Governance Is Turning On A Fresh Momentum, Says Sanwo-Olu As He Swears In SSG, CoS, Other

On Friday, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu administered the Oaths of office on the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin alongside the his Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, respectively.

The trio are the first set of appointments the governor made following his reelection as the state governor for a four-year term.

He described the process as part of the fresh momentum his administration is turning on.

In a Facebook post where he shared pictures from the ceremony, Sanwo-Olu said: “The wheel of governance is turning on a fresh momentum in Lagos State as I swore in the first set of key members of our cabinet.

“Congratulations to Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, the new Secretary to the State Government. She is an erudite and experienced solicitor of the Supreme Court with over three decades of experience at the bar.

“Given her track record and proven dedication to the promotion of the interest of Lagos, which she demonstrated admirably at the NPC, I have no doubt she will be of great value to this administration.

“Congratulations to Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo on their re-appointments as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff. Their high level of performance, competence, and loyalty are deserving of this opportunity.”

Sanwo-Olu went on to reassure that he is on course to better his sterling performance in his first term.

“Our commitment to build a sustainable future for our citizens is unshaken, our will is unwavering. We will do everything on our part to ensure that we surpass all of our successes in our first tenure. Let’s continue serving the people of Lagos with dedication,” the governor added.
