Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has felicitated Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and the former Minister for Special Duties, Senator George Akume on their appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), respectively.
The governor in the congratulatory message posts on his official Twitter page also rejoiced with Senator Ibrahim Hassan on his appointment as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the president.
The tweet read: “Congratulations to my brother and friend @femigbaja on your appointment as Chief of Staff by H.E President @officialABAT.
“Your leadership as Speaker of the House of Reps has been remarkable, and I have no doubt that you’ll excel in this new role. I wish you success in driving progress for our nation.”
“Congratulations also to Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia and George Akume on becoming Deputy Chief of Staff and SGF respectively.
“I’m certain you’ll lead your offices with integrity and efficiency,” he added.
