It was a great day for the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) in Lagos state as incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and two of his predecessors, Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Fashola come together for the first in four years.
The trio met at a Sallah grand reception organised to honour President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The president is currently in the state for the first time since he was sworn in as the 16th president of the country, exactly a month ago.
In a video obtained by Theliberationnews, they were seen in a joyful mood to the admiration of dignitaries at the event.
They were joined by the deputy governor of the state, Obafemi Hamzat, at the reception venue.
Recall that prior to the 2019 governorship election in the state, Ambode lost in the primary to Sanwo-Olu.
