Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, Nigeria’s tallest man has died, Theliberationnews reports.
It was gathered that Agoro, a reality TV star and actor died from discomfort. He was said to have been rushed to a hospital on Wednesday where he eventually breathe his last.
Agoro who was 7ft 4in tall was adjudged the tallest man in the country due to his startling height.
His last post on Facebook was made on May 28 following his recovery from hip replacement. The surgery was carried out by his doctor, Dr. Dike.
The post read: “Thank God Almighty for a successful operation now it’s time for therapy.”
The news of his death was confirmed by the chairman of Akoka CDA, Segun Adesanya who described the deceased as a promising young man.
He said: “Afeez Agoro lives on community road and it’s sad we lost a promising young man. May his soul rest in peace ”
Also paying tribute, Eniola Salu Akin wrote on Facebook: “For those of us that lived in Akoka, we are familiar with this amazing guy, who was a giant, your life was phenomenon & unique… it is sad to hear of your passing yesterday night from complications from a surgery .
“I remembered the first time I saw Agoro Afeez Oladimeji about 30yrs ago there about in Solanke street in Akoka, I was scared ,shocked and at the same time l was intrigued , marvel at this human who is so different from the rest of us, subsequently l became use to seeing him and accepting his uniqueness there is something beautiful about Him, very playful, friendly and jovial, you just have to love Agoro Afeez Oladimeji. Im happy he was recognized and celebrated. He left us with a beautiful memories

As of the time of filing this reports, plans her underway to bury the deceased at his residence in Community Road, Akoka.
