The distinguished senator, representing Lagos West District in the senate, Idiat Adebule (Ph.D.) has hailed the best-graduating student in Lagos State University (LASU), Miss Aminat Yusuf.
Adebule, in a post on her Twitter page, described Yusuf as an ‘Idan’ lauding her for setting an “incredible accomplishment” ever achieved by an undergraduate in the varsity’s 40 years of existence.
Recall, Theliberationnews reported that Yusuf graduated with a 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from Law department.
The feat was announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello on Wednesday during her media briefing ahead of the varsity’s 26th Convocation ceremony and 40th anniversary.
Celebrating Yusuf who is of the 2021/2022 academic session, Adebule wrote: “Aminat Yusuf, this is another ‘Idan’ 5.0 CGPA, coming 40 years after a similar feat at LASU. Congratulations on your incredible accomplishment!.
“Breaking the glass ceiling in any field is no small feat, and your achievement is an inspiration for excellence. I’m incredibly proud of you and the example you have set for others.
The academia cum astute politician described Yusuf’s achievement as a reward for her devotion to studies as she wished her the best in her career.
“Your accomplishment is a testament to your talent, intelligence, and evidence of your devotional commitment to your studies.
“I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, while I’m excited in anticipation of the amazing things you will accomplish in your career as a law graduate. Well done!,” the former Lagos Deputy governor added.
