President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the inauguration dinner and gala night that held on Sunday night, asked Nigerians to stop pitying him over the enormous task of nation building before him.

President Tinubu stated that he was absolutely aware of the task ahead and for that do not expect pity from Nigerians.

Tinubu, a two-term governor of Lagos State governor is widely acknowledged as the architect of modern Lagos.

He demands of Nigerians to hold him accountable on his promises, adding that he campaigned to be elected so that he can resolve the challenges bedevelling the country.

According to President Tinubu: “We have corruption, insecurity and many problems confronting us… but don’t pity me. I asked for the job. I campaigned for it. No excuses.

“I will live up to expectation, I promise you,” Tinubu said.
