Ahead of its inauguration ceremony coming up soon, the Lagos State House of Assembly has organised an induction ceremony for its incoming members.
The members who are forty in number will represent each of the forty constituencies in the state in the upcoming 10th Legislative Assembly of the state.
The training ceremony which was organized by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAG) and the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) provided the lawmakers-elect with educative lectures relevant to their lawmaking responsibilities.
Commenting on the induction exercise, the incumbent speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa who is in pole position to lead the house for the third consecutive time expressed his optimism that the training will help sustain and better the bar already raised by the state assembly.
