Toeing the path of the Action Alliance (AA), the Action People’s Party (APP), has discontinued its petition against the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the ongoing proceedings challenging his victory in the February 25 presidential election.
The development was disclosed by the Counsel for the party, Obed Agu, during Wednesday’s proceedings.
In the brief ruling, Justice Tsammani Haruna, who is the presiding judge of the Presidential Election Petition Court, dismissed the suit.
Recall, on Monday, AA Party withdrew its petition against Tinubu with their argument consequently struck out by the five-member panel.
