The 24th Speaker of Lagos State Students’ Union Students’ Parliamentary Council (LASUSU-SPC) Engineer Adigun Ibrahim was, on Wednesday, honoured at the Inaugural Workshop organised by the legislative body.
The event, held at the hallowed chamber, in the Students’ Union Arcade, was put together by the new leadership of the legislative arm headed by Rt. Hon. Sanusi Modiu to educate the student-lawmakers on legislative activities.
The inaugural lecture had in attendance emeritus speakers and other past leaders of the union most of whom took turns to do justice on the theme of the discussion: “The Dexterity Of Constituency Representation”
Another major highlights of the events was the presentation of awards to distinguished individuals who have remained pillars of support to the legislative arm over the years among whom was the incumbent coordinator of NYCN Odi-Olowo/Ojuwo Local Chapter, Engr. Adigun Ibrahim.
Adigun appreciated the kind gesture and reassured the student-lawmakers of his commitment to supporting their activities and programs for the betterment of the institution.
Other awardees includes the former chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA; Comrade Ayodele Adewale and Dr. Ganiyu Abiona (G-white).
