In furtherance of its “Common Pool For Common Benefits” agenda, Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA has opened its registration portal for free Information Communication Technology (ICT) training for computer enthusiasts in the council area and beyond.
As authoritatively gathered by Theliberationnews, registration has commenced and it will be on till Tuesday, 25th May 2023.

As announced, the available packages are Desktop Publishing, Graphics Designing/Animation and Full-stack Web Development.

For Desktop Publishing, the prospective trainees will be taught General Computing, Microsoft Office Suite, Corel Draw, and Photoshop while for Graphics and Animations, they will be exposed to Corel Draw, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, and Adobe After Effect.

On the other hand, the full-stack web development package will include HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT, Bootstrap, JQuery, MySQL, Python, and Django/Flask training.
The council authority clarified that the training is available to applicants between the ages of 15 and 40 years who possess, at least, a minimum of SSCE. Another criterion is LASRRA ID or any other valid means of identification.
Interested individuals have been advised to visit https://www.ict.odiolowoojuwoye.lg.gov.ng to enroll for the free training which will take place at the council’s Danmengoro and Ajisegiri ICT Centres.
The Council Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala encouraged interested applicants to maximize the opportunity to become computer-literate and ultimately create careers for themselves in ICT.
