You do not have to delete your WhatsApp messages again due to errors therein as the instant messaging app now allows users to edit sent messages.
Aside from the need to correct your errors, this new feature allows WhatsApp users to change the context of their sent message if need be.
Follow these easy steps below:
* Open your WhatsApp chat and highlight the sent chat by Long-pressing it
*Select ‘Edit’ from the menu for up to fifteen minutes after.
* Noted that edited messages will display ‘edited’ alongside them, so those you’re messaging are aware of the correction without showing edit history.
As with all personal messages, media and calls, your messages and the edits you make are protected by end-to-end encryption.
However, checks by our correspondents revealed that the feature is yet to be added even as the instant message app assured that it has started rolling out the features to users globally and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
