Pending the time their bail conditions will be perfected, a magistrate court sitting in Ogba, Lagos, has ordered the remand of popular spare part dealer Ebube Eddy also known as Bebex and his accomplice Ali Musa over alleged sexual harassment of one Mrs. Omolara James.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge bordering conspiracy to commit felony, assault and attempt to cause breach of peace.

The Magistrate O. A Odunbayo described the offenses as bailable and read out the conditions which are: two responsible and respected persons, living within the court jurisdiction, N200,000 bail bond, evidence on tax paid to date, LASRRA identification and accused persons and sureties addresses.

Before adjourning the case till 15th May 2023, the magistrate ordered that Bebex and his accomplice be remanded in custody till they fulfill the bail conditions.

Recall Theliberationnews reported that the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Idowu Owohunwa has ordered the immediate removal of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and other policemen attached to Olosan Division where the assault complaint was made over alleged hanky-panky in the way the issue was handled.
